So this was a neat one… I needed to install the design console onto my Windows 7 machine and when I kicked off the setup.exe file to install OIM to the machine, it bombs out with:
“A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.”
damn…
Google it…. nada. Double damn
OTN it… nada Third strike. Time to figure it out myself.
Simple solution actually.
Open up the Disk1 folder, and go to .\install\win64
Double click the setup.exe file there.
A new command window will open up and ask you for the path to java: \program files\java\jre7
boom, done and done.
Of course, you could also do it this way too =)
